OVERWEIGHT PEOPLE ARE ALIENATED BY GYMS


IT'S A HUGE CHALLENGE IN MANY ASPECTS TO BE OVERWEIGHT AND WANTING TO SHED SOME POUNDS 



I HAVE SPOKEN WITH SEVERAL SUCH PERSONS TO FIND THEY QUIT THE GYM IN PART BECAUSE THEY SENSES THEY DON’T FIT IN. REASONS BEING PEOPLE WERE ALWAYS STARING AT THEM OR JUDGING THEIR 250 TO 300 LB BODIES. 

MY ADVISE FOR PERSONS 30 OR MORE POUNDS OVERWEIGHT IS - 
START YOUR WORK OUTSIDE OF THE GYM
BY WALKING AND ADOPTING 
THE RIGHT EATING HABITS.


REACHING THE OBESE AND OVERWEIGHT SHOULD BE GYM'S TOP PRIORITY. BUT THE INDUSTRY CATERS MOSTLY TO FIT, EDUCATED AND UPPER MIDDLE CLASS CLIENTS. GYMS ARE FOCUSING ON WOMEN, ATHLETES AND AGING BABY BOOMERS. FOR THE OVERWEIGHT OBESE GYM TRAINEE, THE HARDEST THING IS 
GETTING THROUGH THE DOOR 
AND MOVING FORWARD.

BARBELLS AND DUMBBELLS BUILD BRAIN AND MUSCLE POWER


I’M NOT GOING TO ARGUE - THE HARD COLD STEEL IS THE KEY TO BUILDING A MIND BLOWING PHYSIQUE - JUST LIKE I HAVE ACHIEVED. AEROBICS BUILD THE HEART AND SUPPORT A BETTER FUNCTIONING, FASTER THINKING BRAIN.

WITHOUT A DOUBT THE GROWING BODY OF EVIDENCE SHOWS THAT 
REGULAR INTENSE EXERCISE 
- BE IT RESISTANT TRAINING OR AEROBICS
STAVE OFF A HOST OF COGNITIVE IMPAIRMENTS 
AND ENHANCE BRAIN POWER ALL LIFE LONG.

I FEEL INVIGORATED WITH ENEGY AND CAN’T WAIT FOR MY NEXT TRAINING SESSION. AT 65, I’M ON PAR TO CONTINUE TO CONQUER THE FEELING OF OLD. IT IS VERY INTERESTING, TWO DIFFERENT THINGS HERE: ONE, THE BRAIN BENEFITS FROM RESISTANT TRAINING SUCH AS LIFTING WEIGHTS SEEM TO DIFFER FROM THOSE YOU GET FROM AEROBIC EXERCISES.

AEROBIC EXERCISE - MY FEEL ON IT? IT IMPROVES THE ABILITY TO COORDINATE AND DO MULTIPLE THINGS. YOU CAN STAY AT IT FOR EXTENDED PERIODS. BUT RESISTANCE TRAINING IMPROVES MY ABILITY TO FOCUS AMID DISTRACTERS. IT REQUIRES IGNORING THE FEMALES AND THE BOOMING GYM MUSIC AND FOCUSING ON ENOUGH TO SEE THE MUSCLE AT WORK AND THE GEOMETRY BEHIND IT, DURING A BENCH PRESS.

BEYOND GROWING ONE’S BRAIN, EXERCISE IMPROVES THE ABILITY OF DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE BRAIN TO WORK TOGETHER, IT TALKS TO ITSELF BETTER. THE MIND AND BODY BECOME MORE OF A POWERFUL UNIT.
