AS I WAS AT SCHOOL, MY LEGS SLOWLY CAME UP, PLAYING FOOTBALL AND RUNNING TRACK KEPT THEM LEAN AND MUSCULAR.
THEN I GOT DOWN WITH THE LEGENDS IN L.A. --
THE TIMING AND ATMOSPHERE WAS PERFECT.
I JUST GREW. FROM THE NEW WORK-LOADS AND THE SPLIT SYSTEM -- 2 DAYS.
JOE WEIDER WOULD COME INTO THE GYM AND DRILL US, ME IN PARTICULAR ON THE IMPORTANCE OF WORKING THOSE 7 MANDATORY POSES.
YOU WOULD BE SORE FOR A WEEK...
MANY OF THE SERIOUS BODYBUILDERS DON'T LIKE TO DO THEM, BECAUSE THEY ARE HARD.
HOLDING EACH POSE FOR 20 SECONDS IS NOT FOR THE WEAK OF MIND
IT IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS A BODYBUILDER SHOULD FOCUS ON, WHEN PREPARING FOR A COMPETITION.
