HEALTHY EATING HABITS

I'm huge fan of ITALIAN FOOD, especially PASTA dishes. My first choice comes right down to the fresh home-made TOMATO SAUSE:

  • 1 cup WATER
  • sea SALT
  • 1 - 2 fresh GARLIC bulbs, 
  • fresh SPINACH
  • 2 cups Boccole PASTA
  • 1 lb. freshly 
    ground sirloin BEEF
  • 1/2 Tsp OREGANO and 
  • 2 Tsp of OLIVE OIL

  1. Distribute your food EVENLY throughout the day and cut off eating after 7 pm. 
  2. Have a HEALTHY meal every 2 -3 hrs, 
  3. Drink plenty of WATER 8 -10 glasses A DAY
  4. LIMIT your salt intake, sweets, deserts, candy and
    -- eat MORE veggies; broccoli, carrots, spinach, zucchini, green salads. 
  5. Eat more FRUITS as snacks and deserts. 
  6. Choose LEAN meats: skinless turkey, chicken, fish, top sirloin and eggs.
  7. BAKE or GRILL instead of frying. 
  8. Try NON-STICK PAN for cooking. 
  9. Use OLIVE OIL instead of butter . 
  10. Put processed foods in the TRASH, and
  11. BY ALL MEANS -- QUIT SMOKING -- deadly to your health and heart.

I love Italian food (What is in the photo), however my preference is still Puerto Rican food.

One of my favorite foods with rice.
Puerto Ricans eat White rice and red beans, cubans eat yellow rice and black beans. You can tell the difference.
