GUEST WHO'S COMING TO DINNER

MY FOUNDATIONAL EATING PROGRAM
IS WHAT HAS ALLOWED ME TO MAINTAIN THE
VIBRANT, HAPPY, HEALTHY, YOUTHFUL LIFESTYLE.

ROBBY ROBINSON AT ORGANIC FOODS MARKET, VENICE CA.

BEING INVITED TO A BIRTHDAY DINNER PARTY FOR 10 AT A RESTAURANT IS NOT A NORMAL OCCURRENCE FOR ME BEING THAT I’M NOT A GREAT CONVERSATIONALIST AND ALWAYS BUSY WITH VARIOUS VENTURES. BUT I DECIDED TO STEP OUTSIDE OF MYSELF TO ENJOY THE ENERGY OF OTHER PROFESSIONAL BUSINESSMEN AND WOMEN.

BEING ONE TO ALWAYS BE PREPARED, I HAD A "ROBBY MEAL" AT HOME BEFORE GOING, JUST IN CASE THINGS DON’T FOLLOW MY NORMAL FLOW. WHEN ORDERING, A KOBE FILLET MIGNON WITH STEAMED SPINACH WAS MY CHOICE.

I FELT VERY COMFORTABLE AS ALWAYS WHEN OUT IN A CROWD, BUT IT’S ALWAYS A CHALLENGE AT MEALS TO POLITELY STAND MY GROUND, NOT HAVING THE DESERT AND WINES - THINGS THAT I NEVER INDULGE IN. FIRST THERE ARE STARES AND UNCOMFORTABLE LOOKS AND THEN THE CONVERSATIONS ALWAYS COMES TO:
- WHY DO YOU EAT THAT WAY? DO YOU CONSUME DAIRY PRODUCTS?
- NO.
- BUT YOU EAT EGGS?
- YES,
--- YOU WOULD BE AMAZED AT HOW MANY PEOPLE THINK EGGS ARE A DAIRY PRODUCT. THEY BECOME EMBARRASSED WHEN THEIR LOVED ONE HAS TO INFORM THEM IN THEIR LOVING WAY, “DEAR, THERE’RE NOT DAIRY”. BUT THEY SURE HAD THE LOWDOWN ON THE 4 DIFFERENT WINES, TRUFFLES AND THE HEAVY DISHES WITH SAUCES AND CREAMS.

I LOVE TO SEE OTHERS ENJOYING THEIR FAVORITE FOODS, BUT I LOOK FOR THE CLOSEST CHOICES TO MY NORM - SIMPLE, HOME-COOKED GREAT NUTRITIONAL DISHES. MY FOUNDATIONAL EATING PROGRAM IS WHAT HAS ALLOWED ME TO MAINTAIN THE VIBRANT, HAPPY, HEALTHY, YOUTHFUL LIFESTYLE. I’M VERY PROUD OF. EVERYONE IS BLOWN AWAY ONCE THEY LEARN I’M GOING ON 62, MAKING IT CLEAR

A HEALTHY CONSCIOUS LIFESTYLE IS WORTH WHILE.

PEACE, ROBBY

Robby, that's what makes you unique and stand out. I'm amazed you still keep great habits at your age and with all honesty you are one of the greatest bodybuilders to ever hit the stage. Thank you for your words of wisdom and I hope you continue to post.

That's funny about the eggs. I've heard a lot of people make the same mistake, as if anything that comes from a farm is automatically dairy? It's the details that count.
