A PERSON WHO HAS CONFIDENCE WILL FIND IT‘S OK TO SAY, "I DON’T KNOW." I WAS READY AND WILLING TO LEARN FROM ANOTHER MASTER OF THE HUMAN BODY. 

DEAN'S EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE BODY IS THE REASON MY BODYBUILDING CAREER HAS GONE TO ANOTHER LEVEL OF GROWTH STRENGTH, AND AT 65, NEW MUSCLE DEVELOPMENT. 

DEAN IS KEEPING MY MUSCLES, BONES AND CONNECTIVE TISSUE IN THE ANATOMICAL BEST POSITION. 

MUSCLES MOVE BONES AND A CORRECT LEVERAGE POSITION OF THE BONES AND JOINTS ENABLES ME TO LIFT WEIGHTS THAT ARE BEYOND ANYTHING THAT WAS POSSIBLE DURING MY COMPETITIVE TRAINING DAYS. 

EVEN WITH THE USE OF ANABOLIC STEROIDS, MY CURRENT LIFTS WERE UNACHIEVABLE. 36 -45 LB PLATES ON A LEG PRESS, BACK IN THE DAY, WAS UNHEARD OF, BUT AT 65, I’M STRONGER, BIGGER, THICKER AND MORE MUSCULAR

DEAN'S MASSAGE MANIPULATES THE FASCIA - THE WHITE FIBROUS TISSUE THAT COVER ALL THE BODY MUSCLES AND BONES AND TENDONS. THIS WHITE TISSUE COVERS THE MUSCLES AND MAINTAINS THE MUSCULATURE FRAMEWORK OF THE BODY.

MACHINES HAVE BEEN A PART OF WEIGHT TRAINING FOR YEARS SINCE THE EARLY "1920s". MR EUGENE SANDOW WAS SELLING WALL PULLEYS TO GYMS PRACTICALLY TO EVERY YMCA IN THE COUNTRY. 


I’M A HUGE CABLE / PULLEY FAN

THERE ARE EXERCISE MOVEMENTS THAT CAN BE DONE ON CERTAIN MACHINES THAT CANNOT BE DUPLICATED WITH BARBELLS AND DUMBBELLS.

MACHINES LIKE 
  • LEG EXTENSIONS
  • NECK MACHINES
  • WRIST ROLLERS, 
  • LAT PULL DOWN MACHINES AND 
  • ROWING MACHINES 
HAVE BEEN AROUND FOR GENERATIONS. THEY HAVE STOOD THE TEST OF TIME BECAUSE THEY WORK AND THEY WORK AS WELL AS OR BETTER THAN FREE WEIGHTS IN SOME CIRCUMSTANCES.

I BASICALLY USED MACHINES AND THE "HIT SYSTEM" DURING MY FINAL MASTER OLYMPIA APPEARANCE IN 2001. MY CONDITION WAS GREAT BUT IT SEEMED IN MY EYES, AFTER VIEWING MY PHYSIQUE AND PHOTOS FOR OVER 27 YEARS, I HAD LOST SOME OF THAT MUSCLE FULLNESS AND SHAPELY ROUNDNESS THROUGHOUT MY OVER-ALL PHYSIQUE.

REGARDLESS THE ARGUMENT, FREE WEIGHTS HAVE ADVANTAGES OVER MACHINES 

I AM LOYAL TO FREE WEIGHTS

THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THE STABILIZERS OF MY PHYSIQUE AND STILL ARE AS I APPROACH MY 70’S.
