SUPER HUMAN RADIO

SUPER HUMAN RADIO SHOW WITH HOST CARL LANORE WILL HAVE THE BLACK PRINCE OF BODYBUILDING AS A GUEST TOMORROW, NOV 26 FROM 10PM TO 11 PM PST TIME.

LET'S PACK THE AIRWAVES!

ROBBY ROBINSON

Super Human Radio is the world's first broadcast radio show dedicated to fitness, health and anti-aging. An emphasis on exercise, nutrition and hormone management makes this one of the most progressive show about preventative, regenerative techniques designed to increase longevity

Carl Lanore’s “Super Human Radio” program was designed to reveal the flaws and fallacies in today’s Western diet, its linkage to the diseases we fight against, the need for Physical Culture in the form of regular daily exercise, supplements that remove the need for pharmaceutical drugs and the importance of hormones as we age. “Live Stronger. Live Longer” remains his mantra, and Lanore walks the walk. He trains almost daily with heavy resistance training methods, eats a Paleolithic style diet, began hormone replacement therapy in 2007, uses the supplements he talks about, and has turned back the biological clock of his body. He will tell you that he is stronger and in better health today than when he was in his late 20’s.

It was great to hear this Robby, Thanks so much for sharing your wisdom.

Well,
I think that radical approaches should be...moderated...

Why that " Paleolithic diet "..?
We do not live in that Age.

Better follow the proven for life extension diet of our times..

Fish ( lightly cooked ),raw vegetables & (raw ) fruits...
Small portions,eating every 3 ours...

Hormone replacement is controversial...

Can a 60yr old body tolerate/ accomodate a 30yr old body hormonal level without side-effects..?
Or ,even more controversial,should we ..." pump " a 90 yr old body with 30yr old-level hormones ..?

We should be open to any theory but...also be cautious...

Also,we should not reject the drugs as something.." artificial"

" Natural " or " artificial",anything that works suits us...

Robby,u did a mismatch of a white fond with black letters on the top of this post...
Check it...

Harrysmatical,

It's important to be syndical. I with with Carl on the show but I for one think that Robby's practical experience counts for a lot. Studies are needed but are singular experiments that must by design take out any variables that can impact the results.

I like a lot about Paleo as far as eating food that nature provides. Healthy Meats, Veggies and Fruits. Call it what you want.

Hormone replacement... For sure controversial. What has to be better understood is why are testosterone levels in males very measurably lower than they were just decades ago? Environmental reasons seem to be getting attention.

If you go get a blood test at the doctor did you realize the scale is now lower. It has been shifted down to represent today's average rather than a safe biological amount.

Your comments are appreciated. I myself have a lower testosterone than I would like and a corresponding higher estrogen. I am not on HRT but at 43 I have a lot of life to live and I will not rule it out. I am pursuing every natural method I can to help get a better ratio of sex hormones.

I was, as always, happy to hear the wisdom of Robby.

Harrysmatical,
Diet is a 4 letter word. Take it as such. Just get educated about our physiology and you will see that we definitely are eating incorrectly. It is true that our hormone levels are lower, normality is ever changing, I agree with that.

Sorry about the typos -proof reading is not my forte.

I am glad that we have quality comments & a productive conversation...

We all would like to hear from Robby ..

But even more,to hear from... Sly Stallone, who is a fan of HRT & practices it for years...

I wish he makes a ...guest appearance,to honour fellow BB Robby...

Harrysmatical, I have published a book on Steroids, and know alot about HRT. Believe it or not most hormones are not even in the top 100 most dangerous drugs, Aspirin and Vit C are on this list. I have noted my own Testosterone level go from a high of 800 down to 325. I wnt on HRT and it went up to over 500, and felt much better, as well as getting more muscular. However, Prostate Cancer can be a problem as it may have been for me. I have had to stop HRT because of this. Therfore, it can be controversial, but if you ask me it is safer than any chemotherapy drug.

Maybe this subject can be brought up on the radio program. I was put on 3 Oxycodone, 3 Morphine Sulphate, and wore a Fentanyl patch. Needless to say I was loopy. Thes substances are highly addictive, dangerous, and do not completely eliminate pain. The use of Marijuana eliminates pain instantly, and I find not addictive. Many states have opted to legalize Medical Marijuana, and some to actually allow its use as a recreational drug. I for one think its a step in the right direction. How do you all feel?
Dr. Stan

harrysmatic said...

If polls are correct,25% of the Americans has tested marihuana...
We can assume that 90% of them agree that marih does not deserve prohibition...

Even more believe that marih is just a victim of the prohibition spirit, which outlawed ..alcohol,between 1921-29...
I believe that by state referendums ,marih will eventually be legal in most states...

The ill spirit of prohibition is anachronistic in our times...

Would people like you like to know what it is like to be a BB? Would you like to know how some people like Robby have managed to improve their longevity? would you like to ask questions about the history of BB? You should be tired of listening to the boring exercise regimes spouted by well known BB's.
You should ask,"would you want your child to be a BB"? Give us your opinions on this subject.
Dr. Stan

Dr. Stan, If you would like to ask Carl Lanore a question directly you can email me at stephen.lay@superhumanradio.com. I will make sure Carl gets it.

I for one am not a fan of what bodybuilding has become. I have a lot more interest in what Robby is preaching and I will get my son involved absolutely.

Physical culture is in my blood and I strive to do better every day. Robby is the lantern illuminating my path.

Stephen,
The sport of BB is the pits. Robby, Richard Baldwin and others can tell you how corrupt it is. What Robby is preaching is not BB, but how to live. My children are physically fit, but if they told me they wanted to compete I would very much discourage it.
Dr. Stan

harrysmatic said...

First of all,I would like...myself to become a BB ,but at...fitness level..
I am 5'11,I would like to be no heavier that 200lbs,with ..." normal " bodyfat, just not to cover my ...future abs...

But I would like to do weight training only 2 times / week,on Mon & Thu.( & cardio every weekday, minus Sat-Sun)...

Stephen Lay said...

Those mirror my feelings Dr. Stan. However, the fact bodybuilding as a sport went a bit sideways should not deter us to persevere and be the best we can be.

I want to be physically strong, lean and a good example for my children as well as healthy enough to enjoy them for many years. I will never step on stage but I will train and live a clean life in the steps of the men who forged the path.

Stephen Lay said...

BTW I was not familiar with Richard Baldwin. After looking at his pictures it is easy to see whey the 1970's are called the Golden era...

Stephen,
Richard was an exceptional BB. His symmetry was flawless. He was quite instrumental in getting Robby's career started. He is now head of the History Dept. at Gulf Coast Community College. He still looks exceptionally well, like Robby.
I am glad you take fitness seriously, but BB to me is almost criminal, and in many cases probably has been.

Harrysmatical and Stephen,
I was a competitive BB, and owned a Health Club. After my diagnosis with Multiple Myeloma my life and habits were changed dramatically. I felt life was over until Robby helped get me through the black period.
I always wanted to be physically fit, and knew I could not go to the gym for fear of broken bones.
This is what I do now:
M,W,F
1. 200 Cruch ups
2. 20 leg raises
3. 3 x 10 Hindu Squats
4. 40 Chair Dips
5. 50 Pushups
6. 3 x 10 pullups
I walk at leas t 2 miles daily.
T,Th,
1, 150 Crunch ups
2. 20 Leg Raises
Walk 2 miles
On the Aerobic exercises I measure my heart rate for max fat burning.
This is in my "Quick and Easy Physical Fitness" book.
Even with my MM, I stay pretty fit even at 70.
You have seen Robby, but Richard Baldwin has also managed to stay young looking by following sensible eating habits. My book, "I Ate It,
Now What" details alot of the Biochemistry involved with diet.

Dr Stan,

Are you still planning to reduce the prices on your kindle ebooks?

Thanks man :)

After I received the letter from Harrysmatical I thought about not doing it. But I will lower the prices for 4 days. I will notify you when.

Because in earlier days I had a publisher that did everything, I am a Klutz today. I have managed to reduce the price on my Kindle books They should be available in a few days. Believe me when I say that they are invaluable, and the product of over 30 years to make them readable to the general public.
