Except for the occasional meal out at one of my few trusty restaurants, during the seven years since retiring, I’ve basically eaten from the SAME MENUE I used while preparing for the first MASTER OLYMPIA in ’94, just in more quantity.

It’ll be the same selection I’ll use for my COUNTDOWN, so my body will be more than familiar and comfortable with the selection.

The staples in my unmeasured FOUR-MEAL PLAN consists of 
  • eggs, 
  • steel cut oats, 
  • fresh bread, 
  • almond butter, 
  • quality chicken, 
  • fish, 
  • turkey, 
  • beef, 
  • fresh vegetables, 
  • potatoes, 
  • yams
    and 
  • fruit or nut snacks. 
INFREQUENT retreats would be 
  • pasta, 
  • oat bran pancakes with real maple syrup or 
  • a homemade carrot muffin. 
These obviously will NOT be a part of my countdown. 

FLAX SEED OIL will be an IMPORTANT component in manipulating my calories during the countdown.
